Huawei hosted its 16th User Group Meeting themed Listening, Collaborating, Improving, Developing. At the conference, Huawei made a summary of its achievements in rectifying 2023’s most pressing issues to more than 500 professionals from around the world.
Attendees had in-depth discussions on new scenarios, issues, and requirements regarding live-network O&M. The Advisory Board of the conference decided upon and released a list of 2024’s most pressing issues. Through communication like this, Huawei is committed to continuously improving the quality of its products and services, resolving issues for customers, and enhancing customer satisfaction.
The event opened with a welcome address by Dr. Ömer Fatih SAYAN, Deputy Minister of Transport and Infrastructure of Türkiye.

Li Peng, Huawei’s Corporate Senior Vice President and President of ICT Sales & Service delivered a keynote speech titled “Succeed with Quality for a Better Future”.
Li Peng noted that by combining 5.5G with AI, the industry will see exciting growth over the next 10 years. But to seize new opportunities and move forward, carriers need to provide a differentiated user experience, he said. And a brand-new experience can only be delivered through stronger and intelligent assurance capabilities.
Li Peng also recalled that past HUGMs over the past 15 years had helped Huawei identify more than 80 areas for improvement. At last year’s conference, the most pressing issues discussed include 4G and 5G user experience; boosting 5G service experience, deployment, and adoption; FTTR planning, construction, verification, and maintenance capabilities; and IPv6+ O&M.

Yang described how 5.5G, an enhanced and evolved version of 5G, protects customers’ investment in 5G, and meets the network requirements of various applications in different scenarios through technical innovation. 5.5G and AI together will drive new innovation, and create new opportunities for industries, Yang added. Huawei will work with partners to continue to innovate 5.5G, F5.5G, and Net5.5G products and solutions, and diversify services and application scenarios.

He expressed that Huawei is committed to listening to the voice of customers and improving the quality of its products and services. Over the past 15 years, more than 1000 suggestions on quality were raised and discussed at the conference, driving the innovation and improvement of Huawei’s products and services. In the intelligent future, Huawei will remain true to its original aspiration, work with customers to address challenges, achieve shared success, and become a leader in innovation based on intelligence. It will continue to provide products and services featuring the ultimate energy efficiency, simplified architecture, premium experience, and intelligent O&M.
